ABOUT CHUCK

Chuck Kelleher is a creator, author, and podcast host whose work centers on preparation, resilience, and better decision-making in the moments that matter.

He is the founder of Trained Response, a scenario-based learning platform designed to help ordinary people recognize critical cues and choose the right next action faster under pressure. By combining practical training with short, repeatable exercises, Trained Response turns emergency knowledge into usable instinct.

Chuck also hosts Why Daddy Never Cries, a podcast featuring honest conversations about fatherhood, family separation, resilience, and the systems affecting parents and children. His broader research explores domestic violence, false allegations, parental alienation, and ways to improve outcomes for families.

As an author, Chuck develops fiction, nonfiction, and practical tools focused on consequence, recovery, courage, and the difficult work of becoming who we intend to be. Across every project, his purpose is consistent: make important ideas understandable, actionable, and useful in real life.

Professional bio

Work that helps people meet the moment.

Chuck Kelleher is a New York–based author, podcast host, and creator whose work explores what people do when life becomes difficult—and how preparation, candor, and imagination can change what happens next.

He hosts Why Daddy Never Cries, a long-form podcast about fatherhood, family separation, resilience, and the systems that shape parents’ and children’s lives. He also created Trained Response, a scenario-based training platform designed to help people recognize risk, think clearly under pressure, and practice the next right action before an emergency unfolds.

His publishing projects span children’s storytelling, practical nonfiction, and fiction, including Daddy’s Magic Present, Stress-Free Suppers, and The Great Child Heist, published under Caden Michaels. Across every format, his focus is consistent: make hard moments more understandable and give people something useful to carry forward.
