Professional bio

Work that helps people meet the moment.

Chuck Kelleher is a New York–based author, podcast host, and creator whose work explores what people do when life becomes difficult—and how preparation, candor, and imagination can change what happens next.

He hosts Why Daddy Never Cries, a long-form podcast about fatherhood, family separation, resilience, and the systems that shape parents’ and children’s lives. He also created Trained Response, a scenario-based training platform designed to help people recognize risk, think clearly under pressure, and practice the next right action before an emergency unfolds.

His publishing projects span children’s storytelling, practical nonfiction, and fiction, including Daddy’s Magic Present, Stress-Free Suppers, and The Great Child Heist, published under Caden Michaels. Across every format, his focus is consistent: make hard moments more understandable and give people something useful to carry forward.

THE WORK

Chuck Kelleher is an author, podcast host, and creator of Trained Response. His work connects practical support for parents and families with a belief that preparation and honest conversation can change what happens next. Why Daddy Never Cries opens space for candid discussions about fatherhood and resilience. Trained Response turns emergency decision practice into a repeatable habit. His books bring that same direct approach to the page.
